About Dandridge
General Information
Calling itself the second oldest city in TN, Dandridge sits right on Douglas Lake. Dandridge is a small community, with only around 2800 residents, which is roughly one tenth of Maryville’s population. Dandridge has ties to early American history, with several Civil War skirmishes happening in the area.
Lake Living & Boating
Sitting on Douglas lake, Dandridge is a great place for boating and lake life. It isn’t heavily crowded, which gives you plenty of opportunity to swim, fish, ski or drive your boat around.
Attractions & things to do in Dandridge
The main things to do in Dandridge are to enjoy Douglas lake or visit Douglas Dam. In addition, Dandridge has several marinas to enjoy in the area where fellow boaters can congregate. There are also golf courses to enjoy if you get tired of being on the lake.
